Looks like a space ship to me. Not my style. I do think it will give Honda and HD a run for their money though. If the looks were a little more subdued I would defiantly be interested.

Having rode this bike in Sturgis this year and even going to the ride location with a bit of prejudise, i have to say, one Victory gets some minor and i mean minor kinks worked out (engine noise and exhaust heat) they are going to put a major "hurtin" on HR, Honda and others. Which to be honest, i'm glad to see.
I rode this bike 3 different times and each time i found something else to like about it...whether it was throttle response, handling, ergonomics, etc....keep up the growth Victory!

Pop:

On the long hauls, the more bike between you and the road, the more comfy your gonna be. Long is good.

As the Boomers start retiring and looking for stuff to do, scooter touring (in a $4 a gallon economy) is going to look better & better.

Two of our group just swapped custom Sportsters for Classics. We just got back form Puget Sound and their both grinning from ear to ear.

As is see it, baggers are in...big time.

Me too. The Goldwing influence is too pronounced.
But the big V is acting like it is here to stay and even if this release is off the mark it is moving the ball.
I had hoped the streeet model was going to look significantly different. Nope.
Lot of tech touches and the harness must be as fat as my wrist.

I'm not a long nose fan but the Big Bear bagger has my interest because the fundamental innovation is that unorthodox frame stretch. I want to see the thing in action with that elongated frame and wheelbase. If it works, that's an innovation that I could see filtering into other bagger styles.

I Like what Victory is trying to do with the Vision, but the styling of the front fairing and the hard saddle bags are not too appealing to me. I have tried to keep an open mind on this one and gave it time but just because of the looks there is no way I would buy the Vision.
