I went into my local HD dealer in Massachusetts with a check to buy a Rocker C with the only catch that I wanted the seat swapped with the cheap model at no cost to me. I will never own this bike with this hideous seat nor will I buy it only to have to immediately throw the seat away and buy another one. Apparently, sales aren't bad enough yet. They politely, but rudely, (a typical Harley dealer dichotomy) laughed at me.

Anyone know a dealer that has a maroon bike who will do this swap in the New England area?

My rocker is a really comfortable fit. I am 5'8', and I think I could use the bars back about two inches. Didn't bother with a "C", dont want all the clean up time. Have a rear seat and/or package tray from Harley that bolts on or off in about two minutes. Used it with a set of generic throw over bags this weekend to go to Thunder Beach. Carried all my needs for the weekend, plus the ratchet and socket to remove the reae package tray once we were there. If you all think it is so terribble looking. why did you line up to see it in Bainbtidge two weeks ago, and Panama City last week?
I know it is different, but like I told people at those two runs, It Is All Harley.

I just went out and got the rocker C, i did get the after market seat for it. its a 2 up with a back bar for my wife, they made the seat a bit high but after some trimming she loves it, i have mine trick and have won to first place prizes with my rocker, I didnt like the bike when it came out but after seeing one close up i had to try it out , and well i now have one and love the bike, so ya have to replace that cheap looking back seat cause it sucks for the passenger, but all in all its a great bike rides great and the after market seat was well worth the 1200 bucks ya have to pay for it

I purchased a Rocker C, it is now a 113" and is very fast compared to my 103" Deuce and My 103" Electraglide Classic, but the windshield sucks and the seat is too high as compared to the handle bars. My girl rode 225 miles without complaining but she only weighs 120. I have done extensive engine work on all three but the Rocker is exceptional, feels very light and is truly fast with plenty of torque, only exhaust I could get to fit is the V&H big radius. The seat is goofy and I hope there are some alternatives available. Does the non C seat fit the C model?

I have just completed my first 1,000 miles on my Rocker C and have found that the rear fender some how bottoms out against the rear of the seat. I think this is a design error on the part of Harley, as I cant see how any bike could be allowed to bottom out without being fitted with some form of “end stop” before hitting the seat. I will be bringing this up with my dealer to find out what the real issue is.

Apart from this small issue I love the bike, handles great, and for those of you who want a “proper” passenger seat, the one Harley offers, as an alternative is great, as you can remove the actual seat cushion, and it doubles for a rear luggage rack.

My lady loves the bike. She rides on that little seat and loves it. Maybe just because she is with me. But overall We love the bike. added vance and hines big radius exhaust and screaming eagle K and N air filter. 20 more lbs of torque at the rear wheel and we love it. The windshield is worthless though. Had to take it off. It kept bugs off my chest but created so much noise that we couldn't ride the bike even with full face helmets. Removed the windshield and we can ride it without ear protection! We have a total weight with passenger and driver of 400 plus pounds and can ride with anyone. It is powerful, strong and the best looking bike in the poker runs. We have 2600 miles on it in 5 weeks with my lady on the passenger seat for 1800 of those miles. Why did Harley put the license plate on the fender though. It is ugly, catches water, and the light doesn't work anyway after the first time we were caught in the rain.

Got my Rocker in March. Love it The powdercoat is easy to clean, no polishing, just tank and fender. It has the solo seat, but is too wide. Its made for a big guy. Id like to have the 103 kit, but dontget me wrong the 96 is pretty strong. Also put vance and hines slipons, sounds great. seems to me that you dont really need 6th gear unless your going at least 65 mph. like to have a bigger pully for the rear.

I like the looks of the rocker c and am considering buying one....my only concern is that I may be too tall for the bike. I'm 6'4" tall ...can anyone tell me if I will be okay on this thing? Thanks

JUST BOUGHT A ROCKER AT BIKE WEEK TRADED IN MY DEUCE. I DIDNT THINK MY WIFE WOULD LIKE IT AND THOUGHT SHE WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT THE BACK SEAT. WHEN WE TEST RODE IT SHE SAID BUY IT IF YOU WANT IT AND THEN TOLD ME THE SEAT WAS MORE COMFORTABLE THAN ON MY OLD BIKE AND SHE COULD SEE BETTER WHEN RIDING BECAUSE SHE CAN SEE OFER MY HELMET NOW. SHE LOVES THE BIKE. AS FAR AS HEIGHT FOR THE FEMALE MY WIFE IS 5'9'' TALL AND I AM 6'0''

In reply to the comments about the rocker. It is meant to be a solo bike. It was meant for a bit younger crowd one of whom has more of a chance of meeting a girl out somewhere that wants to ride on your bike. That is the case where *TADA* a seat appears and then you can return back to your solo seat look. Now those of you that think that this is ridiculous and are saying that they should have a seat the extends back over the fender, well maybe you should get on harley-davidson.com and check up on the rocker parts. They make a small rack that hangs over the rear fender a bit that you can buy a seat pad for. With this look it really becomes more of a traditional harley with added seat look it just hovers instead of being bolted down to the rear fender. Shall you decide you don't want the rear seat on, well once again it is easily removed and you go back to your solo seat with a rack. They make a Rocker and a Rocker C. The C is the only one that comes with the hidden seat, but also the one that has all the chrome instead of the satin finish. I am buying a Rocker next month and actually wanted the hide a seat but didn't want to pay the $2500 price difference between the Rocker and the Rocker C. So if any of you hate your seat sooo badly I'll trade you for my solo only seat and maybe pay you a little for the trade as well. We will figure the terms later. Contact me at james1981ala@yahoo.com if you are interested.

I just bought the new Rocker C in blue from Harley Davidson in Lynwood washington just outside of Seattle. I paid too much for the thing, but the seat works great. My girl has ridden on this thing for more than 6 hours at one time, and 3 to 4 hours at time a few on a few other days. She loves it, she only weighs about 105 pounds and is only 23 years but has had no problem. Most of the time she doesn't even feel the need to hang on. I would say try the bike before knocking it. This thing rides and drives like a dream. Its definitely a looker and how great is it to put that backseat away and have a single when your just out and about. TRY IT !

i just purchased my Rocker C too and found the seat height to be a slight issue. I was considering installing a lowering kit. Has anyone tried that?

I have a Rocker C and love it! Although like everyone else I can't wait for an aftermarket seat to come on the market. I'm 5'8" tall and I can only touch the ground with my toes, a shorter seat would not only look way better, but also be more comfortable. But over all I have to give it an A !

I accepted delivery of my new Rocker C yesterday and drove it home. After the 40 plus mile ride the seat had become very uncomfortable! I love the bike but the whole "Trick Seat" idea is truly laughable! To offer this gimmic HD sorely misses the mark! They sarificed my comfort for the addition of a useless passenger pillion which is a worthless feature.....and at the expense of my comfort!

In order to crerate the storage space for the "trick seat' the main seat had to be designed to store the passenger seat when not in use. That storage disallows proper cushioning for the main seat! You would think the manufacturer would have just done a primo solo seat and offered a two up option!

I also have a Fat Boy which we will use as our two up ride. The Rocker was purchased as my solo ride and an otherwise awesome bike is almost ruined for this silly gimmic. I am truly surprised and thought HD would know better than stoop to this uniquely patented marketing ploy!!!!

Hopefully they will soon offer and alternative option to the standard seat or maybe Corbin will come to the rescue. If the "trick seat" were scrapped there would be room to provide a super comfortable low slung solo seat which is what I want! Come on Harley Davidson get it right!
